The NVR502 series network video recorders (NVRs) are fully NDAA compliant and support many great features. The systems are plug and play when using UNV cameras making installation a breeze and they support cloud-based camera update feature ensuring your cameras are installed with the latest security updates with a few simple clicks. Remote access is also cloud based to make connecting your smart phone using the EZVIEW app as easy as possible - no opening ports in the customer's firewall. The interface is sleek and simple making the operation of the recorder an intuitive process for beginners and offering all the features you need as an installer.

National Defense Authorization Act or NDAA was modified to restrict the "use" of certain brands, and their OEMs, when dealing with the federal government and went into full effect August 2020. Use of restricted products affects government contractors even on their own security systems on their private property. Recently, the FCC has followed suit and also banned those same manufacturers. This product is made with 100% NDAA compliant parts. |

This NVR has 8-ports of integrated PoE (Power-over-Ethernet), allowing a single Cat5/6 cable for the power delivery and network connection on the connected IP cameras. Uniview IP cameras are designed to be Plug-N-Play when connected to this NVR. |
